There is a common practice in Pakistan, where children are passed between families to their paternal and maternal uncles or aunts through the elderly head of the family who cannot have their own biological children often with no proper legal adoption documentation OR children are adopted from outside the family. 
This also happens due to family hardships involving financial and biological reasons. 

Pakistan is an Islamic state, and Islamic law prohibits adoption and has certain sets of rules implied to it. More often none of these rules are observed in a Pakistani society. 

These adopted children live a life of lies, deception and falsehood and loose everything when their adoptive parents pass away. Some do get lucky and get their rights if their adoptive parents are wise enough to legally take actions before their demise and not trust their blood relatives to fulfill their wills on their behalf.

This page is to spread awareness in Pakistani society and any other society where adopted children are left with nothing in their hands in terms of family, relations and inheritance or even personal belongings of their adoptive parents after their demise.So if you are an adopted parent, please do proper legal custody documentation to ensure that if something happens to you, your adoptee children have legal rights on you. And if you are an adoptee child, spread awareness and let your parents know to take proper legal actions and prepare proper legal documentations for you.
